Don`t spend your internship getting coffee and picking up dry cleaning.
Runway Passport is a new online magazine covering fashion weeks in about 80 cities around the world. Some cities include Tokyo, CapeTown, Mumbai, Pakistan, Oslo, Berlin, Amsterdam among many others.
Along with covering fashion weeks, we are providing a "fashion insider city guide". To obtain this, we are asking designers questions such as what is your favorite local cafe, night club, band, art gallery etc.
As an intern you would have the chance to experience real assistant and editor jobs.
Responsibilities would include: (with an emphasis on what your interests and strengths are)
- researching fashion weeks around the world
- communicating (via email and phone) with designers, photographers and producers of fashion weeks all over the world
- researching and communicating with places for the city guide such as night clubs, spas, hotels, bands and artists
-promoting the site through our facebook account and twitter account
-writing blurbs about art galleries, bands, boutiques and more from around the world
-There can be opportunities to write articles as well edit photos, take photos, style some shoots.
We are about to launch and it will be an amazing opportunity to work for an online magazine at that stage and to grow with us. We are understanding about schedule (school and paid jobs).
We are all pretty young and this will be a small, personal, hands-on and real experience internship. Great for anyone who LOVES fashion and international culture.
